I know that Slumdog Millionaire is a good movie (not too good for Oscar nomination), but i simply don’t want to appreciate it. The direction was good, acting was good, cinematography good, music good, story good, dialogue good. I think i have appreciated all the aspect, on which a movie is rated.
Then why i don’t want to appreciate it.
Simply because it shows a dismal picture of India. It tries to prove the age old assertion of West that countries like India are country of snakes and superstitions and is a place with no cultural, moral and human values. I do not say that what has been shown in the movie is false. It is correct. Like we have some Mafia’s active who manage beggars. we have riots in country, Dharavi is bitter truth of Mumbai, bad cops are here. What is offending me is, we have every evil shown in the movie but not at one time and one place. If we see the quantum then its not larger than the sins of west. And beside India has a golden side too. Why west does not want to show that.
Now come to the headline. Lagaan could not make it to Oscar because it has shown the true human culture of India and bitter truth of colonial time of Britishers. West wants to prove that we are a curse on the earth and their supremacy on country like India, Afganistan, nigeria, africa are justified.
So i think Slumdog Millionare can conquer Oscar.

And yes Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee has commanded my respect for him. I wish from my heart that he recover very soon and rejoin his social life. We badly need a person who has set the standards of honesty, patriotism, aggression, selflessness and dedication in the Indian politics.

Satyam Fraud, as is widely perceived by Indian IT bullies and politicians, is not at all an short run phenomenon. Satyam Fraud is going to have an deeper and long term impact on India’s image of swiftly developing economy. Here is a short analysis of why India cannot avoid Satyam’s repercussion by just media management.
Here i am discussing some incidents happened in last two or three years.
Given the fact that Americans are coward by nature and pretend to be very sophisticated, these events will only create a disgusting image of India in the eyes of American and European investors.
1) Some 200 worker of an MNC (i think it was German), came angry in the office and just kills the CEO of the company cold blooded. Remember Noida is a prominent Industrial Area of India.
2) Adobe India’s CEO’s son kidnapped in day’s light. Again Noida is a prominent Industrial Area of India.
3) India is a country where the participants in the government themselves halt the country through strike. I am talking about communists and there airport strike. If the government, itself will create strikes then who will address the problem.
4) We have different powerful associations in India, who have fixed quota of their strikes. Trucker’s have fixed the limit of two strikes a year. The worst part is, they can virtually stall the country.
5) If you are a American Investor then don’t come to India, because Indian government can not protect you even in high profile areas like Taj.
6) If you want to situate a factory then go to moon as India cannot get you peaceful land. (Tata Nano Singur plant)
7) Those who are expected to check any attempt of lockout, can be out for strike. (oil industry’s senior people)
8) Neither we can protect our self nor we can attack our enemies. We have a wall between us and our enemy, name of the wall is ‘America’. Whenever we are angry with our enemy we just smash our head on that wall, hurting only our self.
‘Satyam‘ might be the limit.
We may no more remain attractive for the world.
Now we need some harsh decisions from the public not the government, at least this time.

1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don’t study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi
3. Prime-minister, President and all other leaders should only be from Delhi
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals
7. Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas)
8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only
9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
10. Let’s support kashmiri Militants because they are right in killing and injuring innocent people for benifit of there state and community… ….
11. Let’s throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world .
12. Let’s stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside
15. We should STOP using local trains… Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari
16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathi’s
